Four years ago my life was so different than it is now. I was preparing to welcome our daughter into this world and life was good. It was crazy, it was hectic, there was never "enough money," the house was getting too small and I was looking forward to a good meal.
And now, I still have the craziness, the hectic days, the financial worries and our house is definitely getting too small. And I'm counting down the minutes until we leave to go to have a good meal to celebrate Mari's birthday. The sameness of my life is comforting. The day-to-day monotony rolls on but when I look at it in retrospect it's how we've been and how we are and I don't mind it. I have much to be thankful for.
