Today Danny and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary! It seems that some days we don't even have a chance to communicate until we're in bed, lights off and ready for sleep--then it seems like the whole day bubbles up and we share everything that has gone on during our day. So during our "meeting" last night we both shared that we were proud of ourselves for making it to this mark--nine years is way longer than most marriages make it these days. We shared our feelings about reaching another anniversary--our hopes, our dreams, even surprise at this milestone. We'll be celebrating tonight by going to Pizza Hut--it's tradition. On our wedding day we got to our hotel room and realized that we hadn't eaten so we ordered a Pizza Hut pizza and now, every year, that's what we have! Tomorrow night Jack and Mari are going to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a slumber party so Danny and I can go out and have a date night!
